Open Democracy

openDemocracy were the first online magazine to publish one of my articles, back in April 2011 (UK land ownership).

They’re run as a completely independent affair, and in so doing provide a valuable platform for political conversation that most media won’t touch, as well as an optimistic approach to politics and people that genuinely tries to think about how society could be made better.

I’ve written for them about the economics of football, the power of the aesthetic, the control of food, and quite a few other things besides.

Here is my author page.
